Mark your calendars!! Back by popular demand, Elmwood Business Association will be presenting the 7th annual “Taste of Elmwood”.
This event will be held on March 16, 2010 from 11:30am – 1:00pm and hosted by Elmwood Self Storage & Wine Cellars. Block out your lunch hour to come by and taste the foods from the local restaurants within Elmwood Business Park.

Created in 1970, the Elmwood Business Association has become a vital component to the Jefferson Parish economy. In 1990, Elmwood Business Park was home to over 1,300 businesses and 28,307 jobs, and accounted for 10 percent of all jobs in Jefferson Parish. In 1998, the $19.2 million in sales taxes collected by businesses in the Elmwood Business District represented almost 40% of total sales tax collected in Jefferson Parish shopping zones. This growth has continued into 2009. |
